On February 3, 2015, Elizabeth Larsen presented her 2014 Circumnavigation Research
results at Hardin Hall on the Northwestern campus in Evanston.
This was the second time to have a joint meeting with Northwestern staff and students to share the research
& travel experiences of our Foundation Scholar. Unfortunately brutal winter weather depressed attendance.

On March 24, 2015, retired attorney John Fitzgerald presented an intriguing talk on his life-long goal
of seeing every corner of the United States by completing his visit to all 3143 counties in 2015.
John is a member of the ExtraMilerClub.org. He explained that 30 of its members have visited all
3143 counties. The Club's motto is "Because the shortest distance between points is no fun".
The event was held at historic St. Ignatius, which survived the Great Fire of 1871. It is a favorite venue.

chapter's main method of raising funds to support a Northwestern University student to make a trip around the world each summer doing original
reseach. This year our scholar was Johnathon McBride and his topic was "American Sexual Assault in a Global Context".

On December 10, 2015, we had our Holiday Party at the
New Rebozo Mexican Restaurant. Chapter members enjoyed different types of Mexican food and socializing.
Three of our Foundation Scholars were in attendance: Sarah Graber, Ben Shorofsky and Catherine Althaus.
Chapter members appreciated a chance to talk to them and learn how their careers are developing.
Every odd numbered year we elect officers at the Holiday Party. Our newly elected officers are
listed on the Officers page.
